This new car to Chevrolet's line up in 2012 will replace the current Aveo. The exterior offers a wedgy profile, rising window lines, and circular lighting units while the interior is enriched by an sleek instrument panel all inspired by motorcycle design. The new 2012 Chevrolet Sonic will be available in a 4 door sedan or 5 door hatchback just like it's predecessor with standard aluminum wheels. The vehicle will also be available with a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission and a standard or Ecotec turbocharged engine. The 5 door hatchback features a cargo area with a removable false door that creates a level surface when the seats are folded and a slot for a cargo cover to slide behind the rear seat. Features on the new 2012 Chevrolet Sonic include 10 standard airbags, electronic power steering, and Stabilitrak stability control. Option features include OnStar connection & direction plans with turn by turn Navi and automatic crash response, OnStar mylink, MyChevrolet Moble applications, Bluetooth, wireless technology, XM radio, remote start, heated front seats, and sunroof.
