FWD or RWD: Which Is Best for You?

When you're thinking of investing in a new vehicle, it's essential to consider what you need. With options for front- and rear-wheel drive vehicles, how do you know which one is right for you?

Front-wheel drive vehicles are the more budget-friendly option since it takes far fewer parts to build one. They weigh less and therefore get better gas mileage. Aside from the economic features, FWD cars provide better traction in rain or snow since the weight of the engine sits on top of the front wheels. Because of this weight, FWD doesn't handle as nicely. Rear-wheel drive vehicles are more durable than FWD cars, and better with handling. They aren't as affordable but can withstand a lot of abuse. RWD cars do not handle well in bad weather conditions, however.
