A bestseller year in and year out, the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox promises more of the same as it arrives at Gillman Chevrolet Harlingen. There are some trim-level changes and new features that make a favorite Chevy SUV even better than usual.
This year, the L trim is gone, leaving the LS trim as the base trim. That makes room for a new RS trim that offers black upholstery with red contrast stitching, black exterior trim, and black 19-inch wheels). The front fascia is also refreshed with a new grille design and headlights, and the bumpers are new too. You can disable the engine stop/start feature, and your Harlingen Chevy dealer will show you some new interior updates in the LS and LT models as well.
New Chevy SUVs have always offered great performance, and the new Chevy Equinox won’t disappoint. Both drivelines (FWD or AWD) are powered by a 170 horsepower turbocharged engine. Pair that horsepower with a tow package and you can pull up to 1,500 pounds behind you, plus the cargo area fits between 29.9 and 63.9 cubic feet of your belongings. For easier access, ask your Chevy dealer about the optional hands-free liftgate.
There’s a long list of standard active safety features in the 2022 Chevy Equinox, including forward collision warning with AEB, lane departure warning with lane keep assist and the Teen Driver feature. If you choose the higher trim levels, you’ll find features like an HD rear monitor, blind spot monitoring, and the Safety Alert Seat.
We’re not done yet. The new Chevy Equinox also offers 12V outlets for easy device charging or the option of a 120V outlet for more power-hungry applications. We also like the active noise cancellation, which helps you hear more of your music and streaming audio via wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®.
There are many more reasons to test drive the 2022 Chevy Equinox, and you’ll see them all at Gillman Chevrolet Harlingen. While you’re here, ask about Chevy financing, lease and finance offers, and much more. We can’t wait to introduce you to this great new Chevy model!
